Copyright & takedown
If you believe something stored in Tiny Cinema infringes your copyright, or shows you in intimate imagery without your consent, this page tells you how to ask us to remove it.
What this page covers
Tiny Cinema stores what its users upload and render. Every studio is private: there are no public pages or share links. So a notice to us covers material stored in a studio on our service.
If a film made with Tiny Cinema has been published somewhere else, such as YouTube, TikTok or Instagram, we can't remove it from that platform. Send your notice to that platform as well.
Sending a copyright notice
We respond to notices under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Send your notice to our designated agent (below). It must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature, as the copyright owner or someone authorised to act for them.
- The copyrighted work you say is infringed. If there are several, a representative list.
- The material you say is infringing, with enough detail for us to find it: the studio, project, shot or file name, and anything else that helps.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
When we receive a complete notice, we remove or disable access to the material and tell the studio's owner. A notice that knowingly misstates infringement can make you liable for damages.
Sending a counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, or you had the rights to use it, you can send a counter-notice to our designated agent. It must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- The material that was removed and where it was before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district where we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or their agent.
We send your counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. If they don't tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we restore the material within 10 to 14 business days of receiving your counter-notice.
Repeat infringers
We close the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright, in appropriate circumstances. We may also remove material or limit an account before that point if the infringement is clear.
Our designated agent
Send copyright notices and counter-notices to:
- Agent: [Designated agent name], [Company legal name]
- Address: [Registered address]
- Email: [email protected] (subject line "Copyright notice")
- U.S. Copyright Office registration: [DMCA designated agent registration number]
48-hour removal of intimate imagery
If Tiny Cinema holds an intimate image or video of you, real or AI-generated, that was made or shared without your consent, we remove it within 48 hours of a valid request. We also make reasonable efforts to find and remove identical copies on our service. This follows the U.S. TAKE IT DOWN Act. It is not a copyright process, and you don't need to own any copyright.
Email [email protected] with the subject line "Intimate imagery removal" and include:
- Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is enough), or that of someone authorised to act for you.
- Enough detail for us to find the image or video.
- A short statement that you believe in good faith it was made or shared without your consent.
- How we can contact you.
You don't need to send us a copy of the image. If the content involves a minor, we also report it to the relevant authorities.
