How it works

Plan it. Cast it. Shoot it. Publish it.

Every screen below is the studio itself, on real projects.

Jungle Run in the studio: the Copilot suggesting the next shots, each with its model and price, beside the film's Library of stills, clips, sound and notes
01

Plan it from a script, a brief or a song

The studio breaks it into scenes and shots, with cast, staging and length, and the Copilot suggests what to shoot next.

Rafel's cast sheet: close, front and back views, with earlier versions listed beside it and the sheet marked in production
02

Cast it once, and every face holds

One sheet per character, place and prop. Pick the hero version and every shot draws from it.

Burnline in the studio: the Copilot's takes on the left, and the shot page for The Gunner with its first frame, the take playing, and its stills and video takes listed beside it
03

Shoot it take by take, in plain words

Each shot has its own page. Ask for a take, try another model, keep the one that works. The price shows first.

The timeline: takes laid on the Main lane over the song's waveform, with lyrics below
04

Cut it and publish it from one timeline

Score, voice-over, sound and titles in one place. Save versions, review with your team, export a 1080p master.

The Copilot reads the page you're on, so “him”, “here” and “that take” need no explaining. And cnemai is an MCP server, so Claude and ChatGPT can open the same project you can.

  1. IN THE APP

    The Copilot on every page

Open a character, a scene or a shot and ask. It generates the takes, lays them on the cut and tells you what each one costs.

  2. FROM CLAUDE

Write the scene, send it over

Scenes, shots, cast tags and staging land as real rows in the project, not a transcript you copy across by hand.

  3. FROM CHATGPT

Push a picture onto a cast sheet

Make a look wherever you like. It arrives on the character as a reference, and the studio rebuilds the sheet locked to that face.

Four Copilot sessions, recreated from real ones. On a scene, it breaks the open of Tony's Noodles into six shots with a length and a price each. On a shot, the ask mentions the character Echo with @, picked from the film's cast, and the Copilot renders a slow push in from the shot's first frame and files the take on the shot. On the cut, it lays nine sound effects on the Sound lane under their moments, then moves the pack shot so the logo lands on the narrator's line.

Why cnemai

Made for a film, not a pile of clips.

Other AI video tools hand you five seconds at a time. cnemai works like a crew: you give the art direction, and it takes the film from the shot list to the final cut.

Talk to it like your crew.

No prompt craft. Say what you want the way you'd say it on set, and the studio does the work behind it, all the way to the edit.

Your creative producer

Plans the shoot

Breaks the script or brief into shots, lines up what each one needs, and tells you what a take costs before it renders.

Your artist

Makes the frames and the sound

Builds the cast and world sheets, shoots the takes, voices the lines and designs the sound, keeping the look and the faces from shot to shot.

Your editor

Assembles the cut

Lays the first cut on the lines or the beats, adds the voice-over and the sound, and swaps a take when you ask.

Sound design for Tony's spot: nine effects, straight into the Sound lane.

The Copilot on Tony's Noodles, recreated from a real session: a warmer broth pour with the steam held, a closer take of the chef tasting first, both filed on their shots, then the pack shot moved on the cut so the logo lands on the narrator's line.

The three asks below, on Tony's: two takes filed on their shots, and a move on the cut.
You say
  • “Warmer. Let the steam hang before the pour.”
  • “Same chef, closer. He tastes it first.”
  • “Land the logo on ‘Tony's Noodles’.”

A real studio, every tool a film needs.

The parts of a production that usually live in someone's head, built into the studio.

01 · DNA analysis

Read the DNA of any film, yours included.

Drop in a film you love for a recipe of its craft moves, or your own cut for an honest read: what lands, where it sags, and what drifts between shots.

Also read: look and palette, continuity drift, a recipe of craft moves.

A Breakdown reading: genre and tone, how it was made, and the story in numbered beats with timecodes
The film: genre, how it was made, and the story in beats.

02 · Version control · teamwork

Your whole team on one film.

Everyone in your studio works on the same project, and every cut says who made it. Try an alternative ending, put it up for review like a pull request, and let the team decide.

  • BranchAn alternative ending, without touching the live cut
  • ProposeA whole cut or a single scene, up for review
  • VoteEvery member votes and leaves notes on any version
  • CompareWhat was added, removed or retimed against the live cut
  • ApproveThe producer or director approves, or rejects with a note
Mask Off's version history: cut v60 with its notes, a comparison against the live cut showing a removed clip and retimed clips, and Restore on every version
Face Masks Off at version 61: every save kept, with its notes and what changed.

03 · Continuity

Every face, every prop, every shot.

Locked cast sheets ride on every take, so wardrobe, props and faces hold across the film. The last frame of one shot can open the next.

04 · Video critique

Notes on every take and cut.

Ask for notes the way you'd ask a script supervisor: what drifts, what jumps, what breaks the look. Your rulings stick, so a rejected shot never comes back.

Questions

Before you start.

Anything else: [email protected]

Do unused renders expire?

No. What you put in the wallet stays there until you spend it. Monthly credits that vanish are the thing we built this to avoid.

Do I need my own API keys?

No. We run every model and you get one bill, at the prices shown on this page.

Who owns the video?

You do, as far as we're concerned. We claim nothing in what you bring or what you make. Each model's own licence also applies to its output; the AI & content policy has the details.

Can I use my own script, song, face and footage?

That's the point. You need the rights to what you upload, and written consent from any real person whose face or voice you use.

Is my work private?

Yes. No studio is public and there are no public share pages. Only members of your studio can open it.

What if a render fails?

A failed take isn't charged. Its price goes back to the wallet.

Can I cancel?

Any time, in the app. The studio stays open to the end of the month you paid for, and your work is kept. See refunds.
